Just leave it. England and the blithering idiot Woy's loss is just our gain.

When its beyond comprehension (any bias aside), it should be shared for the 'fun factor'; Woy is indeed a buffoon!

I've never heard of that Everton player. Lineker is an overpaid know-nothing, who is still biased towards the clubs he played for.
Yes there is always one unexpected player in the squad - and hopefully it will be Davies, as how many other quality English centre backs are there?

    Unfortunate juxtaposition there.

Perhaps more a reflection of your knowledge than Lineker's, he's been one of Everton's stand-out players this season.

I don't think he warrants a World Cup place though.

Stones has made 15 appearances this season, 6 as sub! Hardly got a mention until he replaced Jags a few weeks back.

26 appearances, 6 as a sub and he's been a regular in the starting XI since January.

I'd take him over Caulker, I still don't understand that one, how on earth is he even getting a mention in a team that is relegated.

I'd take both Stones and Davies to the World Cup.

I could murder a pint of Stones right now.

    The proper cask stuff, mind.

John Stones is a brilliant young CH and a good choice for Brazil. He's far better than the awful Caulker who has the turning circle of an oil tanker. But Davies is better than both of them although his play has slipped a bit recently (tired?). Smalling shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Brazil. Woy is an idiot.

If Davies had managed to get himself a ticket to Brasil, they'd be coming to take it off him after this week.

I stand corrected, only looked at league appearances. That said hardly represents a full season.

Hardly a full season? What you on about?

This season Everton have played 43 games, he's played in 32 of them.

In his defence (excuse the pun) Agbonlahor should have been penalised for his assault on Curtis, and on Tuesday Fellani held Curtis down for his header. That said, not up to usual high standard, and a v worthy player of the season

He's played in 26 of them, but he's only been a regular starter for them since New Year, so he's been a permanent fixture for the second half of the season.
