    ----------------------O'Donnell

    Golbourne------Flint----Magnusson------Williams

    --------------------O'Neil-----Smith

    ---------Freeman----Tomlin----O'Dowda

    --------------------------Kodija

Just one of many options we now have. We have great strength in depth, with a bench featuring Little, Ayling, Fielding, Reid, Wilbraham, Agard, Bryan, Pack, Brownhill, & Garita - a fairly decent second 11, and that is reckoning without the under 21s, many of whom are ready to step up according to Johnson.
One more decent central striker and I reckon we could make a fist of it

Williams at right back? He can hardly play his own position let alone another one! Bring in Mathews and I think our first team is sorted. Agree with everything but Mathews for Williams.

Williams at RB? And Freeman over Joe Bryan? I'm glad you're not Head Coach.

Hasn't he got Williams at left back though? Otherwise he's playing ROD up front and Kodjia in goal!! He has Golbourne playing right back. Which still isn't right, if you get my drift? :emoticon-0100-smile

Joe Bryan was as ineffective as Freeman in his first season in the championship, luckily JB gets a pass because he's "one of our own".

If Freeman has a good pre season I don't see why he shouldn't be in our first 11 against Wigan.

    Yes - my bad.
I got my left and right mixed up, cos its all back to front

Anyway, don't forget, I was only suggesting a possible line up - the truth is far stranger
I have always thought Freeman was more useful than Bryan in that position tbh. I see Bryan as a wing-back, the same as Johnson does

Still, if we all agreed then there would be nothing to write about,
Shaping up though isn't it !

The biggest danger is having to many players that can cover the same area of play!

    Not sure tbh JG
Thats the problem with multi-tasking - spreading the butter a little too thinly
