I have the feeling Uncle Tone won't go with two untested centre backs, so suspect he'll use Hume and Cirkin as he did towards the end of last season. Huggins and Clarke as wingbacks.
Think you might be right. Might be a bit more fluid with Huggins on the left, tucking in as an orthodox LB when we are out of possession.

He might go 4 at the back
Cirkin Seelt Hume Huggins
4-2-3-1
Tony always picks Roberts unless he is injured.

Who do you think will be captain?
Dan Neil? Ekwah?

Think Roberts will play and expect him to play a more orthodox back 4 probably Seelt and he may even go with Triantis as well but I think that would be a bit of a risk, Hume is not quite as big and we may need the height in defence and set the team up with a slightly more defensive set up so would not be too surprising if Dan Neil was asked to hold midfield a bit more and not be as adventurous as he has been of late but who knows as TM does not like to curtail his teams attacking flow.

Seelt and Hume would probably give us the same height at set pieces as Ballard/O'Nien - Huggins and Cirkin at full back, then the usual midfield/forward options

Hume is not a centre back in a 2 for me, isnt he like 5ft 8? That really is an emergency level situation.

The reason I think Roberts will be benched is that he really isn't a WB, but Clarke has done okay there, Huggins best position is probably right WB so this fits well in my mind.

Looking forward to seeing Seelt thought he was canny against boro be good to see him when it’s not constant backs to wall defending his passing range looked good so could help get us up the pitch quickly

He's no wing back, how would you line up the defence?
Patterson
Huggins Hume Sleet Cirkin
Ekwah Niel
Roberts Jobe Clarke
Rusyn
Although I know very little I think that looks fine
We have the potential of a good bench
Aouchiche
Ba
Bass
Burstow
Bennette
Dack
Prichard
Silva
Triantis
Something like this
