We DON'T expect miracles. We don't expect to win every week. We don't expect to get promoted at the first time of asking. We DO expect to see youngsters given a good run to show what they can do. We do expect to see the team build for the future. We do expect to see attractive passing football. Good riddance Delaney, Bowyer, Bullard, Leadbitter, Chopra. Welcome back Smith, Carson and most importantly Luke Hyam. It's not all about results. It looks as though Paul Jewell has finally got the message and it's new year, new start.
Has PJ got the message though? The formation and team have been forced on him due to injuries but I hope this teaches him that our youngsters do have something to offer. The line up is only a step in the right direction if he plays it next time out. If he changes the team after this performance then he has learnt nothing. Even if we draw or lose this match the performance sounds as though they all deserve to stay in the team.
