Here I go again, this week the aim is to get better than last weeks' 6 players in my line up.
So

Mendy

Dave Christensen Rudi

James Kante Gorginho Chilwell

Havertz Lukaku Werner

Late change of mind, Mount on the bench, Havertz in. Mount has looked below his usual brilliant best every game to me, so going to give him a break this week.

…….errr, I’d just like to go off at a tangent and write that England would have won the Euros had they had Lukaku instead of Kane of the Spuds playing up front. :1980_boogie_down:

I had a conundrum. Spud mate of mine offered me a ticket for Sunday's game. Three Spud's and me in the Spud's end, train to the ground, day on the piss then the game and a long train journey home. I turned it down. If I cannot celebrate when my team scores it's not worth going. Am I wrong?

Alonso thriving in wing back position. Feel sorry for Chilwell...will struggle to get games. Defence in general looking very strong. Kante, as if we didn't know already, is world class...he completely changed the course of that game. Werner made some good space for others but his lack of goals is a worry. Kova and Jorg very dependable and consistent. Kepa has got a bit of confidence back. Too soon to get carried away but the signs are there that we can make a strong challenge.

You need to read the Spuds thread mate, apparently you were uber defensive which is why you won 0-3 <laugh>

Poor 1st half, great second half, some outstanding players Kante, Alonso, Silva, Kepa all excellent.
Mount is definitely not himself, has been below par so far, looks flat. Needs a week off by the looks of things.

No, I did it at Arsenal some years back. Even had pre match drinks in the Tollington Arms. Altogether a better bunch than the Spuds.

I watched the game live on Sky Sports, I switched on half an hour early hoping to see a montage of Chelsea and Spud goals from the late, great Jimmy Greaves. All there was was adverts following adverts. We soaked up 25 minutes of pressure then the Spuds were worn out and ripe for a pasting. Great tactics from Tuchel. :1980_boogie_down:
