Tonights team may give us a glimpse of where Sven is heading with his team. Tuesdays line up was strictly backup players and several played out of position but tonight the opposition will be more credible and I expect to see most of Svens new toys on display. For those lucky enough to be there it will probably be the chance to see a completely new back 5 and a remodelled midfield and strikeforce.
What time is K.O? Will it be on RL again? For the first time in ages, I actually enjoyed Stringers commentary where he wasn't slating everyone and he seemed much calmer.
schmeichel,peltier,st ledger,bamba,konchesky,wellens,danns,king,wassell,gally,nugent lineup for tonight
Almost the first team then, though I'd expect one of Bamba or St Ledger to drop out for Mills and obviously we are still chasing a striker and possibly a winger. I can't see Vassell being a first choice.
It's 1-1 Mallorca scored in first half, apparently Kasper and Bamba at fault. Gally equalised from the spot. Sounds like we are playing well, passing the ball along the deck nicely. We have to make sure it's not Sousa's City number 2 though and get a striker who can put the ball in the net.
Sounds Konch, Pelts and SSL are doing well. We do need to have options up front however, Nugent sounds decent but Vassell hasn't been mentioned in the second half. Routledge and Maynard would make our team formidable to say the least. As I type they say the new first team coach will be announced.
