    Here's a thread which is probably of no interest to anyone but myself, but I shall indulge anyway. (If anyone posts a reply I'll be very disappointed :biggrin:) Could be handy in a trivia quiz though.

    I'm keeping an eye on what West Ham are doing in the Europa League (they got through the 1st qualifying round 4-0 on aggregate against an Andorran side and played a side mostly of their under-21 squad.)

    I moved on to the Champions League qualifying and came across this fixture:

    FC Midtjylland v. Lincoln Red Imps

    My father's family all come from Lincoln and I've been there many times and been to Sincil Bank to watch Lincoln City too. Their nickname is The Imps due to the famous stone cross-legged gargoyles carved on the cathedral.

    So who the heck is the Lincoln Red Imps playing in the Champions League?? Turns out it's a team from Gibraltar. There's clearly a connection with our own Lincoln City although I haven't established why.
