tremendous work rate from town ,some real quality recycling of the ball and pressing all over the park ,it made lincoln work really hard, got fed up of lincolns efforts of falling down all over the place pity some of them were not booked. amazing composuer from whalley 0-1. vital save from sarkic as town went in at half time still leading.
lincoln had a silly amount of corners and moving the ball from side to side the amount of energy and concentration required by towns defence would be huge. the midfoeld and the defence did a tremendous job to limit lincoln to hitting the post. but it sound like and not suprisingly considering how hard the whole team worked as if some players started to get leggy with 20 minutes left to go. town kept there shape they are well organized and make teams work hard, but the last twenty minutes we could have done with somone to put there foot on the ball or just keep it in there half to let players have a breather from relentless pressuer from lincoln.last 20 minutes dragged and there was some very tierd players leaving the pitch. whilst we have a long way to go and another tough game awaits us but what a transformation we can all have some hope . a few weeks ago this would have felt impossible
