So we find ourselves on the Championship board - for the first time in eight years though. But there is so little to talk about yet! We've no manager - and no sign of the damned uncertainty being over soon. Uncle Dave is going to land us in the **** if he doesn't stop holding off for his £2m compo and just get on with getting a management team in place, signing replacements for the players we've lost / will lose, and start preparing for a lonnnng campaign in 13/14.

Season tickets aren't even out yet - limbo!
 
Maybe slowly coming to some certainty.

Dave says on the BBC webite that he couldn't interview anyone until he had sorted the compo with Everton, which they have now done. Although Dave says he has four or five "top notch" candidates, word among the supporters is very strongly that Rene Meulensteen will be named our new coach in the next few days.
