Really ?!?!?! Another player we've been linked with, desperately need and reasonably priced and we can get him (through not trying or terms?)

We are become a joke club, I can't fathom how we are even 5th with so many average players playing this badly (Chamakh, Arshavin, and Park can't even make the squad!!!!)

Thank god for RVP where would we be without him

  3. Ba would be nice but can anyone seriously imagine Arsenal paying that sort of money for a player. It appears to go against the grain but who knows if we may not break with tradition. Heaven knows we need to!!!

And if we did go for Ba, let's hope no one in N5 messes up the deal.

    We're not gonna sign anyone??

Why do fans think we will after both Wenger and hillwood have said we wont?

We need to but we wont.

Cahill has gone to Chelsea (for a mere £7 mill)and Hazard will probably join him in the Summer.
The Arsenal board are not interested in spending money.

Meh to Cahill and I think we've burned our bridges with Lille. Not saying I'd not love to sign Hazard but why on earth would he join us at the moment? I would love to be proved wrong there.

We really need a couple of players right now but

    a: It's a terrible time to buy.
b: Wenger has said he won't buy.
    c: HW said the same.
    d: We're notorious tight-arses.

On a serperate note if we spent £18m on Ba I'd be rather suprised considering his clause is supposedly for half that.

Why do people work themselves up over transfer rumours that blatantly won't happen? It's like you want to be unhappy.

QPR have nearly signed him on a 6-month loan deal. He is a beast at LB. Why on earth didn't we get him on loan?! Can't understand this move by Wenger at all.

I think that aly cissoko is better and we have been heavily linked with him aswell, if taiwo was that good i doubt he would be going on loan to qpr and i would prefer cissoko aswell. I think that left back is the only position in out defense that no matter who we start i will still have worries as gibbs is never fit and santos can't defend.

Wenger's attacking coaching has not really worked - 'wingers' who can run and thats about it, strikers like Bendtner & Chamakh who can't score,
defenders who .... I'll leave that to you.

Santos was statistically (yay!) Arsenal's best defender I believe. According to the Opta Stats anyway. He's been a very big miss - both from his defending and chance creating point of view. I can't wait to have him back, he's genuinely exciting. Having Santos & Sagna back in defense should at least help to shore things up a little.

SamirNasri - that doen't make Taiwo a bad player !! Flamini did nothing of note when he went to Milan, lots of players move to ta different country and don't play well.

Clearly you haven't seen him play for Marseille or Nigeria, he is a fantastic LB !!! The good thing would be, the pace of French football isn't far off that of English football, and it is very physical too, I think he would be suited to English football, rather than Italian football that is far slower.
