Bear with me please because I've sank a few cans, but does anyone feel like their supporting a completely different club to what their used to?

I generally, if i'm honest, try to convince myself during a pre-season that we are going to do well & that the players we are signing will come good. This going back to the Mick McCarthy era & the likes of has always been my perspective on the club i support, sort of a might never of heard of him but if the manager thinks he's good enough then that's good enough for me.

My brother on the other hand has always took the pessimistic approach of "he's ****ing ****e" & sadly has for the most part nearly always been right. This time though, for once, I'm not actually trying to convince myself that everything will be ok. I really do believe that PDC knows what he is doing, got a good chairman, building a good team, everything that can really take us to this "next level" that we always say we're going to but never reach.

Please, for **** sake SAFC, don't shatter my faith once more because there's only so many times I can piece it back together again.

We just signed a player (According to FIFA) from Juventus, that Juventus didn't want to sell. That speaks volumes to me.

You're right mate. Does speak volumes, significantly! That's one damn tasty avatar by the way. Anyway, like I say just get the feeling that this is when we really do "go to the next level. ****, imagine going to the pub during the week watching Sunderland playing in Europe rather than sitting biting your finger nails hoping we get an equalizer against Rotherman or summit in the League Cup with a couple of minutes to go. Would be a nice change.

Gonna have to have a word with our boy cos he's like ****ing Nostradamus when it comes to this thing.
