It does not matter who, if anybody, we sign. With that useless t**t in charge it wont change a thing. We are in for one hell of a long season. We will be lucky to get 2 points from our next 6 game IMO.

 

If we are not going to sign the required players can we just have a new manager who is tactically aware, doesn't consistently lie to the fans and will get the best out of the current crop of players (some would say he is for the latter but I don't feel that way)? Is it too much to ask? I know the c**t isn't going anywhere but Christ if no one comes in today I'm seriously concerned that by the time he does get sacked it may well be too late.

 

I'm really beginning to lose the faith. Alderweid seriously link yesterday to have his head turned by Southampton, a League 1 club a couple of years ago.....however, their manager is Ronald Koeman and we have this muppet still in charge - can't blame him can you!? Also, MYM is good enough for AS Roma but not us....most of his games for us were at full back!

Ashleys directive was for us to finish top 8 - i'd take a 17th place finish now if it meant he'd sack Pardew at the end of the season but we all know he's here for the long haul!

It winds me up how we now look up to clubs like Saints and Swansea (no offence to their fans) as so called 'bigger clubs' when it comes to transfer dealings.
I was the first to wear my hands down to stumps over some of the amazing Carr signings but on reflection, Carr or no Carr they would still need to be motivated.

Thanks Albert, been a voyeur for some time but my usual positivity about nufc has finally left me. I get the distinct impression that we aren't prepared to pay somebody more than £40k a week, therefore we are always sitting ducks for other clubs, both in terms of players we have or ones that we are interested in.

I live in Norwich and have been travelling up for the past ten years or so for 6/7 home games a season and a couple away - not this year, can't be bothered to spend my hard earned on a club with no ambition. Our NET spend over the past few years must be peanuts (if even in the positive!), without taking into account Sky money etc.

 

Seems to me that the owner has given the "manager" (a term I use loosely) a mid/lower-table squad and asked him to finish 8th. Conspiracy theory it may be, but is that a move of design?

 

You're still clinging to the hope of the managers departure aren't you Roland? He as given him a squad to do exactly what he wants, stay in the league and make a profit.

 

What else do I have to cling to, DMW, if not that?
