We were a laughing stock to other clubs, managers, players and fans everywhere before we secured Warnock. I think Amit Bhatia had a lot to do with that so he deserves huge credit. Let's hope we can keep him out of retirement for a while yet.

I still just stare at the league table in disbelief, despite the fact we've been there virtually all season :emoticon-0104-surpr

I'll be in tears when we've clinched promotion....

Wholeheartedly agree. Amit is definitely the man - the new QPR. Mr Mittal has said as much and credited him with bringing Sir Neil to LR.

Amit Bhatia knows that you leave football management to experienced football managers. You discuss developments with them but otherwise leave well alone. That's why we're top of the also rans and on our way to the business end of things. With people who know more about business than most at the helm, the signs for us are brill. I reckon the free-spending football world is about to get a lesson in educated budget management from men who've got enough to play the tables.

Here here Brixton, I don't think we'll be taken for a ride by agents with over-valued players who prey on the new clubs to the Prem. With Warnock identifying the right sort of player and Amit & Co doing the financial negociations, things are looking very exciting.

Can we please not have headings like this, for those of us with nervous dispositions? Thanks.

This certainly beats another season looking down and trying to stay above the mire. Regardless of what happens next season, NW deserves to stay for as long as he wants. Unlike many, I can remember promotion under Venables, but this seems more special because most of us could not see it coming at the start of the season, and as Norfolk said, we've pretty much been leading all season. I'm still pinching myself every so often.

When I read the title of this thread I came over all cold & sweaty! I thought we'd done it again, sacked the manager! Well, now that the five nurses have calmed me down I can now comment on the job he has done since his arrival at Loftus Road.

I have to admit that I was never a Warnock fan, if fact, I could have shaken him warmly by the throat! I would have liked Darren Ferguson as our manager, so it shows you what I know!

Since NW has been at the helm of our fantastic club, he's been a breath of fresh air. I think he's even surprised himself how much he's enjoying it, OK, being top top of the league helps! But every time he's on TV he says how much he's loving it. His sense of humour has been brilliant from day one. When asked what he thought about his three year contract, he replied, three years, I thought it was three weeks!

So, Mr Warnock, you have one convert here. I would now like to shake you warmly, not by the throat, but by the hand, and say thank you on behalf of all us long suffering R's fans for getting us back where we belong!

I will put a bottle of champagne in the fridge Saturday morning in anticipation of three points at Cardiff, if we gain those three points, I will raise a glass to our Neil!

a truly remarkable turnaround in fortunes since he & his backroom staff joined, he's brought a smile back to players & fans, stability which was badly needed at the club &

As you all know I was so anti-Warnock last season that I got all wound up with certain fan's calling him the 'MESSIAH' I really wanted
Curbishley as our new Gaffer...A year later and Warnock, in my eye's has performed a Miracle! The guy has turned around a Joke of a Club into
a quality team! and now we're on the brink of returning to the Premier League! something I never dreamed would ever happen again! so I raise my glass
to Warnock, thanks Nelly for giving me this moment of joy and long may it last....COYR's
