Just going over some stats for this season, and realised I hadn't really taken in just how many penalties were missed against us! In all competitions we gave away 8 pens, only 4 of which were scored! Obviously I'm not reading too much into it, just found it vaguely interesting to remember them. Missed: Djibril Cisse Papiss Cisse Clint Dempsey Adel Taarabt Scored Steve Sidwell Mark Noble Craig Gardner Mikel Arteta In contrast, we were awarded 3 and managed to score 2 (Wessi and Holt scoring one each and Holt missing one).
How many were missed and how many were actually saved? I know that Bunn saved from Dempsey and Taarabt but did Djibril Cisse hit the post? Also, I really cannot recall Papiss Cisse ever taking a penalty against us! Was that home and away? I have no recollection... Either way, those 2 saves show just how good a shot stopper Bunn is.
Djibril Cisse's miss didn't matter too much they scored the re bound. And if I remember correctly, Pappiss Cisse smashed one miles over the bar.
