Swansea City have revealed that they are planning to redevelop the Liberty Stadium. The Welsh club have announced a £14.6million profit from their debut season in the Premier League, registering a turnover of £65.2m for the year ending May 31, 2012. This has allowed the Swans to foster plans to renovate their stadium, which is the second smallest in the English top flight after Queens Park Rangers' Loftus Road. "Work is well under way on the £2.5m Landore training ground development and the creation of a partnership with Swansea University which involves the acquisition of a long-term lease of the playing fields at Fairwood, which will result in a first-class training complex befitting a Premier League club," reads a statement on the club's official website. "Plans to increase the capacity of the Liberty Stadium are already being discussed with the idea of a phased development over a two-year period when the timing is right." - SKY SPORTS please log in to view this image Slowly but surely we are getting there, moving forward in our development as a solid club, built on sure foundations, another positive in the Swansea City success, onwards and upwards it is!.................
Greeks!.... that reminds me, need to loosen the cork on that Retsina bottle in the fridge!...............
It's an acquired taste, and when you've been out to the Greek Islands long enough, you acquire it, must be served chilled, and has no additives in it, one of my favourite drinks! it is stored in pine casks though, how it achieves its taste! Yummy.......
