Sums up the modern player. Disgraceful.

    Probably treason too! :)

I think to call him an arsehole would be rather fitting in this instance...

As vulgar as it is I do think people have overreacted. Yes it's a poor joke but people are acting as if he's committed some heinous crime!

We all know they make ridiculous amounts of money so what surprise is it that when he's been with his mates they're pissing about and do something stupid.

Plus he's an Rs fan! Cant be that bad!!

I think the offence is classified as defacing the monarchy and you're not allowed to deliberately ruin pictures of the Queen.

Not really enforced otherwise the KLF would have been in trouble.

Yes, but the KLF said that theirs was 'art' so it doesn't count! ;)

Sums up the modern pro footballer succinctly.

People need to lighten up, if it was originally meant as a joke between him and a pal theres nothing wrong with it. People going on like he's murdered someone or something!

I guess he's a prat for staging this photo, and his pal's an even bigger prat for sharing it over the internet.

Meh, not a big deal. People are acting as if he actually used it properly instead of as a joke ffs

    Mmmmm....

I kind of see both sides on this one.

Lets say it does little to encourage good feeling.

Still, I guess it could have been worse, he could have used a holy script, now that would have caused a bit of a flap.
