According to SSN, Liam Ridgewell has re-iterated his desire to leave Birmingham.

...so what exactly has changed since deadline day in August for us not going for him now? Not saying I necessarily want him, but it's a little weird.

Were those last minute deadline day failings just token gestures just like N'Zogbia this time last year....?

Get ready for another bullsh*t fake attempt at signing someone in a weeks time? Bryan Ruiz mark II

If we could get him for pocket money then yes, otherwise I'm not fussed.

I heard it was West Brom who were in for him now. :bandit:

Or perhaps we've realised he's not as good as we thought he was? Ever thought of that?

Probably a better option than Mariappa, would like to think there are better options out there, but we also have to be careful not to pay over the odds like other clubs.

Yes, but what exactly has Ridgewell done this season that he hasn't over the past few years?

I've got £12 and a bourbon. He's not worth much more than that...

We'd best hold the bourbon back to sweeten the deal if they don't accept our initial £12 bid.....

Seem to remember him scoring a fair few goals even with headers but what's he like defending in the air? He looks pretty short and I'd be very concerned if we brought in another player who can't defend set pieces.

Nah i'd rather have Mariappa and that isn't a dig at Ridgewell. He'd do a job as backup, I just think Mariappa is better than him.

All the Brum fans I've spoken to say he's awful, has no passion or desire, and is always beaten in the air.

It's a no from me. I'd prefer Mariappa as back-up.
