"On a personal note it's very frustrating but on the other side of things I'm a squad player, I'm a Leicester City fan and whether I'm in the team or not and we're top of the league, I'll take that any day," he added.

He'll be back soon enough you'd imagine. I'm a big fan of Wasilewski but Moore's quality and Pearson's going to look for an opportunity to play him again.

I bet Liam would have won it if it wasn't for his rib injury.

    Future England CB, no doubt.

    Hobbs, future captain of England....

    Keane, the future of England....

Lets just remember some comments on our other young CBs. He is 21 and not even our best CB. Top CB, yes. Potential, yes. Lets not get carried away though.

He's in a completely different league to those two. He has it all and he's 21.

The only thing he doesn't have is experience, which will come in time. We've got a gem and he wants to be with us, it's a dream scenario.

We just need to take into account that our feelings for him include the fact he is a local lad and young.

Imagine he was 21 and italian... would we still be quite as excited about him as we would be given he is from leicester? Because remember if he plays nationally it is irrelevant whereabouts in the country he is from with no attachments.

For what its worth, i think he is very good and an excellent prospect but i think people are getting carried away about his international class and potential due to his local routes and i also remember past comments about Michael Keane and Jack Hobbs.

You certainly didn't hear either of those from me <laugh> ... in fact I've upset a few on here by maintaining that Hobbs was/is pretty average and last season during that bad run I posted more than once that I just didn't get Nigel's seeming determination to persist playing Man United's young prospect ... either in preference to more experience alongside Wes or indeed in preference to our own young centre-back prodigy ...

Liam Moore is, IMHO, already better than both ...

Schlupp gets the same kind of praise sometimes (not from me, especially as a striker) and hes not a local lad.

I think theres always attachment to youth players as you want your own to do well. All clubs want to have the credit of finding and bringing up the next Messi.
