I cant see him going to tell you the truth. Albeit his contract runs out at the end of the season we would be due compensation and with the club not needing money it will take a massive offer for us to be interested in selling. With Nigel saying he probably wont go into the transfer market he wont want to lose Liam either.
He is a Leicester fan so hopefully won't be a prick and signs a new deal so we receive a transfer fee if one of those clubs come for him.
It's clearly just a journalist who's noticed that a young player is starting in a Championship match and therefore will be considered a prospect for Premier League teams. They haven't even managed to notice that he's a RB who's playing out of position due to injuries. However, if he continues progressing at this rate he should be a class act, absolutely marked James McClean off the pitch in the second half of the Sunderland game when playing at RB, so he's clearly got good potential.
And rightly so he should be noticed. All young players in the championship should be "looked at". cant see him going, but wouldnt be overly sad if he did.
In the last year of his contract? My guess is this is his agent trying to get him a new one. Same thing happened with Jeff Schlupp last year with Liverpool etc.
