    Strange one...

    We have just changed to playing 3 at the back... And have now left ourselves with just 4 CB's? <yikes>

    Sidenote, the average age of those CB's is 32.5 <yikes><yikes>

    Looked out of his depth earlier in the season, so a decent move for him. I'm sure he'll be Prem class one day, but he isn't yet.

    Have to admit I'm not sure we need 3 CBs with THAT much collective experience ... you'd imagine that Liam would learn an awful lot playing in a 3 with Huth & Upson with the added advantage of providing the pace that the others lack ... but as Nige has previously said .. he will stand or fall by his team selections at the end of the day ...

    Collectively we played a lot better at Arsenal and Everton ... but we still conceded 2 in each game ... we've only scored 3 (and more) once ... so the odds are not exactly suggesting wins unless the defence gets tighter ....

    Which is not far off the combined average age of the back four when we won the League Cup in 2000.

    I would have liked to see Moore use for his pace to mop up behind Huth and Upson if we are sticking with the 3 centre halfs
