Heard that he might have broken ribs but nothing official about his condition after the boror game - is the lad alright?
Seems he thought it wasn't too bad after a scan, but further tests say its more serious. Pearson will no doubt be asked before the game tomorrow.
He'll be interviewed today (Pearson) and I guess that interview will be played on the Football Forum (6pm on 104.9)
Right on cue. Leicester City ‏@OfficialFOXES NP: "@liammoore93 has a broken rib, missing 3-4 weeks, but we'll see how it settles down. Managed on Saturday. Miquel back this week too."
Obviously disappointing for the lad and the team that he will be missing for a few weeks but hopefully will ensure he is still here for the rest of the season and then a new deal offered in the summer.
I didnt think for 1 second he will leave. I dont think Kasper will either Waggy and Schlupp might IMO
Liam Moore ‏@liammoore93 1m Was good to go back into football today and do a bit of work. Ribs felt good
I think Wasilewski is getting better as he is starting to acclimatise to the pace of the Championship ... he got a lot of plaudits for his performance against Bournemouth and I don't think he is the kind of character that will let us down ... that said, Liam Moore has been a revelation this season and his return to fitness will be a huge boost all round ...
I love Wasilewski's attitude. He gives his all for the team and if Nigel told him to run through a brick wall he would. When his number went up on Saturday for Chris Wood to come on and sprinted straight off the pitch without complaining in the slightest. While I think Liam Moore is the better defender I would stick with Wasilewski for Forest as I think his experience could be vital for us
Saturday was the first time I saw him play in the flesh (boy, he's even larger in the flesh) and despite the two goals conceded (both of which were not his fault in the slightest, James and De Laet might be a little to blame but made up for it with the rest of their performance) I was impressed with how tidy he looked for a CB. He linked up well with the rest of the team, showed some nice touches and seemed to know how to play it from the back; I remember a few pretty nifty cross-field balls.
