    Annoys me

Bruce brings in Bruce Jnr and tries to ship our own Liam Cooper off to a lesser club for "experience".. how much more **** does he have to take?

He should be the 3rd choice CB IMO.

He should definitely be our third choice CB, being shipped out to accommodate puke boy is a disgrace.

I'd much sooner him be getting match action and vital experience than sitting on the bench though because when Hobbs returns he's not going to get a look in, and he's not going to learn a lot whilst sitting on a plank of wood is he. He desperately needs a good loan move, but to a good side with lots of confidence.

There are not many good sides with alot of confidence that wouldn't be promotion rivals, who did you have in mind?

i don't know the kid at all, and he seems like a decent squad player. However, I smell a rat when three previous City managers have tried to ship him out for 'experience'. Maybe more than just a straight-forward football problem?

Probably anywhere else but Pompey. The thought of not getting paid probably put him off it.

He's been loaned out and still hardly played, might as well stay here if that's going to happen again.

Bruce said he's baffled by his decision, a lad his age should be playing. So clear message from Bruce that he's not likely to get a look in.

So glad that Liam has done this but its hardly new news. With only Faye and Chester we need at least 2 cb as cover So Liam should IMO stay and fight for his place. Bruce jnr has the experience but Cooper has the Quality.

I am amazed that Steve Bruce has not offered Conor Townsend to Scunny as they are shipping goals for fun. Then when Jack Hobbs comes back maybe just maybe offer Liam Cooper to Scunny as well for game time.

Why are you amazed Coops doesn't want to go to Pompey? it's bloody miles and he's bound to have family in Hull. Come on, if he needs to play on loan surely Bradford, Scunny (as said), Sheff Utd, Chesterfield etc would be more attractive options.

Its a shame that Liam Cooper got an injury when he did. With Faye having played almost 2 full games in 4 days this week and Bruce jnr not being 100% fit Its madness to even suggest letting Liam Cooper go out on Loan. Maybe Bruce snr wants to see what the local lad is made of.

But he doesn't have to. He's contracted here, and if he doesn't want to go then no one can make him.

He's easily our 3rd best centre half at the moment, and if we're sticking with this stupid 5 at the back then he should be on the left of the 3.

it's time for liam to do whats best for him now. he'll be available on a free next season so will probably go to a club on loan with a view to a permanent next year. that'll be why he doesn't fancy pompey. i expect him to go somewhere more local for the whole season. poor kids seen his contract go to bruce junior, what a joke. good luck coops whatever happens, you deserve better than this.
