For those who haven't wandered onto LFW lately here's a double helping of reflections from Tuesday night..... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...referee-chips-in-wednesday-stalemate-–-report http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...s/40797/lessons-in-substitutions-–-knee-jerks
Always excellent stuff from Clive (and Antti). If you can't hack it there's always this. It's only 35 seconds. You'll love it.
Great stuff, love the second link. Love the 'Bad Idea' and the 'Good Idea' stuff ....... Hoping CR gets time to read it.
Nope didn't like them It comes across very weak and easy I will keep reading them but I have visions in my nut I prefer Col any day he has soul
No problem it's easy QPR 0 Sheffield Wednesday 0 QPR earned a valuable point and their second clean sheet of the season. SW who are playing very well were the better side but no goals were scored. The match was boring for the fans and some were unhappy Lets hope we will our next match and then the supporters of QPR will be happier Done, Post Reply time for a ****
That's ok but there's no mention of the chewing gum stuck to your chair whilst you were having your pre match pint. You've missed the barmaid serving Salt & Vinegar instead of Smokey Bacon. Not a hint of the altercation you witnessed betwwen the Uber driver and his passenger. Completely missed that Karl Henry drove to the ground in his new SUV bought at a remarkably low price from Car Giant. Only C+ must do better, DT continues to lack concentration and unwilling to apply himself fully. His relationship with Eamonn Swords is now one of deep concern. Recommendation to sit next to young Clive for the next term is being considered.
....and you do this by posting something that would have Ceefax hanging it's head in shame? Too hard to match for some I guess. I'll take colourful, committed and full on 3D ahead of a flat and uninteresting shade of green every time. Thanks for proving the point anyway. Spoiler
Lack of words preview QPR v MK Dons Saturday 24th October 2015 Hope QPR win today and get 3 points. There are three outcomes as I see it Win, Lose or the match is drawn. I am certain that after the outcome I will still be a QPR supporter. The end
Working on my match report Looking out over the grey roofs of Sheperds Bush , I could scarcely observe the football, but I felt so high I could see the Statue of Liberty. The weather was appalling. The rain was borne on a terrible west wind. Down below me appeared to be a shoal of silver sardines, swishing about in the gale. No more like starlings or crumbs from a cream cracker that is too dry when eaten inside mothers sideboard . We had built our camp on top of the school end stand from Mothers old sideboard earlier that summer and it had remained undetected by the ground staff at Loftus Road . It meant however getting installed into our eagles nest at 4am on match days but at least we weren't lining Tony's pockets Against MK Dons our private box was full ... with my tranny and chums Clive and Alan Bennett ... The tranny made us laugh as he was from Eire and loved fine ladies clothes ... It was tight inside but cosy on a grey wet windy Autumn match day . Toilet facilities were difficult and to be frank was just a bath sponge. A thought occurred that I should have been at home in my slippers filling my pipe. But why was I there? Because QPR played pure football." "I love words. Words like chocolate and custard and crystal and iconoclast
