It'll be interesting to see if trent makes it this time.

We put 90mins in both cbs as well so will we risk it?

Nope; Gomez and Matip were subbed on, Konate went off on 82mins, none played 90mins, only VVD did.

Not been encouraged by our defending on set pieces and West Ham. especially now with JWP, are not a great match up in that sense. I'm expecting this to be a tricky game.

Well hopefully this will be yet another moyes **** show where he goes negative as it is at anfield and we can dominate.

    alisson
    trent konate vvd Robertson
    szoboszlai macallister Jones
    salah......

I can't predict what klopp will do with Diaz and nunez now. diaz was awful last night largely and nunez was nunez. we have gakpo and Jota so who knows.

it's all about changing from poor starting into fast starts that take the lead and drive on for me.

this is a must win game with a huge game the following weekend.

We're **** at playing teams who play a fast counter. West Ham pretty much only score on a fast counter.

Not sure which way this will go.

I think the changes made recently by klopp were good.

we did see a **** show last night with bajcetic stepping into the old trent space though.

the way is see this tactical **** is that konate is right full who doesn't attack and trent is the right side cb who passes WHEN WE HAVE THE BALL.

we transition into a defence where trent goes wider and konate fills in but vvd has to cover half the pitch for a period

if trent stands at cb and pings passes we will be OK.

if he runs off anywhere he likes and there's a massive gap to run into then it's very different.

I would still play nunez bit that's me. I don't think gakpo is a tenth the player firmino was

    CHRIS SUTTON'S PREDICTION.
    Liverpool v West Ham (14:00)
I love the defensive discipline of David Moyes' sides and the way he thinks as a manager. He knows what his team's strengths are, and plays to them.

The Hammers will be difficult to break down at Anfield and they will counter-attack when they do get the ball back.

It's Liverpool's forwards who will decide this game, though. They have got so many dangerous attackers that they can rotate and cause all sorts of different problems.

I liked their response when they found a way to win after falling behind against Wolves, and I think they will find a way through West Ham's defence too.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-0

Fabian's prediction: Liverpool are at home so I am going with them. 2-1

    JONES KNOWS BEST PREDICTION.
Liverpool vs West Ham, Sunday 2pm
Since leaving Everton, David Moyes has managed 39 times away at either Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool and has yet to register a victory in a league match, with just six of those ending in draws.

Image:West Ham boss David Moyes is winless away at the 'big six' since leaving Everton
That's 33 defeats, yet 17 of those came by just a one-goal margin. This means when Moyes takes a team to a 'big six' rival, there is a 43 per cent chance that his team will lose by one goal from quite a hefty sample size of games. It makes sense as his style does lead to no-thrills match-ups where it can be a slog for the opposition to find a way through. That has been on show already this season where he has frustrated the likes of Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester City whilst also offering plenty of danger on the counter.

Splitting stakes on a Liverpool 1-0 and 2-1 win with Sky Bet at 9/1 and 7/1 could be a profitable plan of attack.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 1-0

Early Sunday game? Another breakfast fixture for me... but just in case I sleep in for the Wham game:

Wake me up before the goal-goals.
