Hi Liverpool fan here from another forum. Just come on to do a pre game questionnaire to get some thoughts on the upcoming game and season. So feel free to answer if you want and I’ll try and pick out a few that I can. Cheers in advance

I thought I’d get this one out of the way first

    1) What are your thoughts on the players/manager who have left. Who do you feel got the best value for money, how do you think they’ll do at their new clubs, do you think you’ll feel the loss/what will you miss from them and could they be replaced. And finally what are your thoughts on the way they left and the legacy they have left? And anything else on them?

    a. The one I feel there will be the least animosity for Rickie Lambert.
    b. The one with the most…Adam lallana
    c. Dejan Lovren
    d. Luke Shaw
    e. Chambers
    f. Osvaldo
    g. Pochettino

    2) New signings next. What’s your opinion on who you’ve brought in. Again value for money, how will they fit in and is there anywhere else you’d like to strengthen an any other players you think will arrive?

    3) Which brings me on to the next one, what is your opinion of your board? Do they have the clubs best interests at heart? As from an outsider looking in there appears to be unrest in the club with mass exodus of players.

    4) Southampton where the best team tactically to play us in my opinion last year, so with a new manager arriving will you set up in a similar way with high pressing or will there be a change in set up and tactics? What are your thoughts on Koeman and will you push on from previous seasons? Do you like the appointment and the man himself?

    5) How has the pre season gone. Do any new signings look to have settled?

    6) Anymore talented youngsters ;) due to make a break through this year?

    7) How did you feel when you pulled us out for the first game? What are your expectations for the game. What line up do you expect to start?

    8) What are your expectations for your season? Where will you end up and how do they differ from last season?

    9) Predictions for the rest of the league

    a. Champions
    b. Champions league places
    c. Europa League
    d. Relegation

And finally a general football question

    10) How do you feel about the proposed 39th game?

    Cheers in advance

    a. The one I feel there will be the least animosity for Rickie Lambert. - Great servant, deserves to finish his career at home. Wish him all the best after Sunday.
    b. The one with the most…Adam lallana - Lying, deceitful, badge-kissing ****
    c. Dejan Lovren Just a ****ty human being. Only out for himself from day one.
    d. Luke Shaw Got a great fee, I was always convinced he was made of glass. Might prove to be right on that one.
    e. Chambers Most of us very disappointed on this although the club's hands may have been tied by a release clause. Should go on to be a great player for Arsenal and England.
    f. Osvaldo Bear him no ill will really. Bad decision by Poch and Cortese to take a punt on him. Taider in exchange is a player I really like the look of and 7m is a good price.
    g. Pochettino Lead everyone on, tapped up players, outfoxed the board, lied to the fans. By the end of the season he'll be unemployed or managing a real top club in Spain.

    2) New signings next. What’s your opinion on who you’ve brought in. Again value for money, how will they fit in and is there anywhere else you’d like to strengthen an any other players you think will arrive? Long is overpriced but not displeased with him, all others look decent. Have high hopes for Gardos and Taider who could prove to be bargains. Koeman confirmed today that we want one or two more. CB and utility player would be good. March/Redmond and van Dijk would be grand for me.

    3) Which brings me on to the next one, what is your opinion of your board? Do they have the clubs best interests at heart? As from an outsider looking in there appears to be unrest in the club with mass exodus of players. Their heart is in the right place and they were handed a nearly unwinnable situation last year. No-one at the club has covered themselves in glory since last December, in particular those whom have left. There was something of a perfect storm, with the media hype, FFP, our performances last year, Les not being popular, Cortese being a cult leader and an inexperienced boardroom. With Koeman and Les now running the show and Kruger putting in some much better public appearances, it certainly seems like we're getting things back together and there is a lot more optimism.

Love Koeman, who certainly seems very honest and upfront. Would expect much of the same but with more wide play, getting crosses into Pelle. We could do with being able to 'win ugly' as it were, because we could never grind out results last year.

    5) How has the pre season gone. Do any new signings look to have settled?

Good results, Tadic and Taider in particular fill me with hope.

    6) Anymore talented youngsters due to make a break through this year?

Yes. Don't tell anyone. Targett and Reed next

    7) How did you feel when you pulled us out for the first game? What are your expectations for the game. What line up do you expect to start?

Annoyed. I'm hopeful of not getting destroyed. Would expect us to be: Forster, Clyne, Yoshida, Fonte, Bertrand, Wanyama, Davis, Taider, Tadic, Long, Pelle

    8) What are your expectations for your season? Where will you end up and how do they differ from last season?

Mid table. The rampant positivity of the Cortese era has been replaced by modest realism for the time being.

    9) Predictions for the rest of the league

    a. Champions - City
    b. Champions league places - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool
    c. Europa League = Spurs, United
    d. Relegation - Leicester, Burnley, Palace

And finally a general football question

    10) How do you feel about the proposed 39th game?

If it happens it will be nothing to do with our feelings on it. The Premier League is a top 4/5 closed shop and any action they take will only be to benefit those clubs.
