I wouldnt sell him either, as much as he has done wrong he is still an amazing player who skills outweigh the negatives he brings. Liverpool simply have no choice to keep him as he is the sole difference in them being a top 8 side or a 8th-14th side.

Far worse has happened - Cantona's flying kick, Keane intentionally ending Haaland's career, etc - and none of these players were sold for it.
