Here is a really good analysis of the accounts. Not all gloom and doom! http://swissramble.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/liverpool-keep-car-running.html?m=1
I didnt read it all. Sounded a bit dumb in places, taking a chance to take a dig at Roy Hodgson and putting in wrong statements like saying we traded Christian Poulson and Joe Cole for Alonso and Mascerano, when it was actully Aquilani and Meireles signed to replace them.
i find this rather funny cos according to mr ayre the accounts are not yet published. I also want to state one thing. the perosnal and rather trite attacks on individuals shows a lack of class. Lets take purslow for an example. Call him incompetant if you like, ala parry but one must must remember these guys do try thier best. they do not go in Football manager style with the aim of robbing all of a teams moeny then laughing. they genuinely try to do thier best. Hodgson, purslow and so on all do try thier best. they don't go out of their way to sabotage our club. "Christian Purslow, a smug, superficial excuse of a chief executive, who delivered little beyond infamously nominating himself as “the Fernando Torres of finance”; and poor Roy Hodgson, an experienced manager who was the archetypal square peg in a round hole (though apparently good enough to lead his country)." this one line alone shows a lack of grace. I think the analysis if directed towards shaming g&H which is not a bad thing in itself as the data objectively indicates this but i do feel that the waters are too muddy here, there are too many factors at play in terms of revenue, sales and aquisitions etc not to mention the club purchase for half nothing to really make a call as to the clubs health based on last years figures. me, i think i'll go with ayre on this as he will be looking FORWARD, not backwards and if he can see the ability to support another 100mil in spending on players fine.
And you've just shown that you do know NOTHING. That is not in anyway shape of form a 'good analysis'. I would expect a first year accounting associate to do a better job.
I am a first year accounting associate and I couldn't do a better job. Therefore, your point is rendered useless.
Ok then Cpofl let's have your considered take on why the figures have been presented this way and what they are indicating - with justifications please. As I don't expect a detailed analysis an over-view will suffice.
Oh dear....I'd find another career if I were you....and I really mean that. And This message is hidden because Foredeckdave is on your ignore list.
I am rather disappointed with his silence to say the least. However, we shall take his silence as a token of his regret for ever coming onto the LFC board and highlighting his own stupidity.

Where's CPofL with that over view I asked for? You don't think he's still reading the Introduction to Accounting For Dummies do you?
You spend more than us on wages and you spend money every summer whilst we bring loads of money in from transfers. Yet you are still nowhere near us
We spent most of it on extending our trophy cabinet. Hey, actually why don't you make some more money and rent yours out, not like you'll be using it anytime soon.
