I wanted to get this out quick so i could write a proper comment then.... My first thoughts are... 1. we are weak in goal 2. we brought quite a few kids i didn't expect to see go, sama, mcloughlin and smith to name but a few. good for them i guess. 3. very interesting to see suso down as the u19s is just over so it'll be interesting to see if he's going just because or for some good reason 4. not sure how we'll make a front 3 if that is rodgers intent at this time. cole, borini carroll should in theroy be obvious, pacheco, downing and eccleston could back up.
He is. Also interested in the fact Ecclestone and Pacheco have been included... I would have thought they'd have been moved on by Rodgers, but I think it just goes to show he's willing to give everyone a chance. Can't see Ecclestone staying past pre-season though to be fair.
Don't know about Doni, but Reina might not have played, but has been training and been involved with Spain only just over two weeks ago. He can do with a long rest considering he will play every week.

yup suarez is compeltely out of our preparations for the season due to the stupid olympics... he'd better win it is all i can say borini is back with the other guys from the euros and joins up in the Us directly. i think this wednesday they get together

Yeah, saw your bit about Dempsey Already knew Doni wasn't at the Olympics too, just wasn't sure whether not being in the squad was due to injuring or not being a LFC player any more. I didn't think he was listed on the website any more but having had a second glance I realised I was being blind
