Story on GillsConnect says we are on the verge of signing Lewis Montrose, a midfielder released by Wycombe. don't know how true this is, bearing in mind they said we had signed a keeper last week.

montrose is a very good player and is capable of running the game from centre midfield,he likes a tackle has good vision and can pick a good pass out also has a very good shot on him.i was dissapointed we didnt extend his contract.he is only young and has bags of potential ,a good signing for the gills in my opinion best of luck to him hope it goes through<ok>

I never believe these stories until an official announcement is made by the Club. At least, it could be a start.

Passed me by... But looking at his stats on he did play regularly in Wycombe's promotion last season. Could be a good signing Fingers crossed.

Saw an absolute screamer of a goal scored by him on youtube, i hope its true anyway we need a proper solid TALL midfielder in the centre of the park especially as i don't think big kev is signing on for another season

Crawley's big problem is going to be the meagre capacity at their ground.......
