So Bates is in court over the Levi case again, this time "we" are being sued for damages for harassment. So the club is going to pay a couple of million quid out to this bloke for money he lost from bates terrible management, then we're going to be given the line that "it wasn't my fault he wanted damages" as the excuse for having a pathetic transfer budget.

That's speculation, but apparently this case for damages involves the club, and since the last one did not and the club still had to pay the legal costs, I'd imagine we'll be footing the bill for the legal costs and whatever damages Levi is entitled to. Either way, this is plenty more evidence that the stupid old clown isn't right for Leeds United. The bates backers won't listen though they'll just overlook it and pretend as if you haven't said anything when you try convince them.
As he used the official Leeds matchday programme to launch his attacks on Levi it very much does have something to do with you.

That is one of the reasons I have stopped actively participating on that board. Too many infantile posters. Having said that, given there most likely was not much of a budget to begin with, he/she may not be that far off.
Anyone got a link to this, which might explain why Bates and Levi are back in court about this, considering it was in court in January last year? Where's the £2m figure come from, and for what? If this is true, by my reckoning we will be £7m to £8m down on turnover in comparative terms - 25% - from the accounts just published. And that's just turnover. Given the costs of running the club would put us £7m in the red with this, the demands of the fans and Warnock to get hold of players who can compete for promotion is pie in the sky. Anyone stupid enough to buy a ST or renew for next year - you got owned!
Cheers Ringo - this is the same case as in court 15 months ago and booted out by the judge who told both sides to grow up Can't Levi take out Bates and Harvey and then get sent down for it? Get rid of all of them then
Well apparently the evidence shows that Mr Levi was indeed turned into a fugitive, this is a new level of being unprofessional. They printed his address in the programme for ****s sake. They also asked fans to let them know if they'd seen him, trying to start a witch hunt. Either this is what happened, or the evidence they are referring to "matchday programmes" doesn't exist. Pretty hard to fabricate evidence like that.
Oddly enough, Bates should think of using LUST as his character witness! I'm sure that LUST would testify that we all hate Bates and the last thing we would do is go after Mr Levi. Probably quite the opposite. In fact, perhaps we should all go to his address with messages of support to demonstrate that the club (i.e. the fans) is more behind him than Bates.
Well, Bates wanted a hate campaign against Levi (that never took off) so how is it he doesn't like any negativity towards him?
