Rumors were Bayern Munich were favourites to get him but with Leverkusen refusing to sell to rivals we should be in there with a firm offer. 13 Goals and 12 Assist this past season, strong in the tackle he's (IMO) a big part of the jigsaw to us getting back on top and at 24 years of age the right amount of experience and youth. Looked okay in the first couple of Copa America games, though I cannot say I know his qualities too well. Any signing of a combatative CM would be welcomed, by me at least.
Never seen the guy play - but have heard good things and to be honest he would be a marked improvement on denilison so surely that would be a good thing!
