After watching yet another woeful display against Aston Villa I have decided to write to The Sentinel in the hope that my plight gets printed so that someone high up at Stoke City will take on board my comments which I feel will be in tune with the opinions of the thousands of supporters who pay good money every week to watch their team. People keep talking about a bad run of form. It is not a bad run of form it is about the manager being finally found out with his lack of ideas. There is only plan A and no plan B or C. After five seasons in the Premier League he still does not know how to win an away game. He only knows how to not lose a game and has no idea whatsoever how to win a game. My plight is this Mr Coates. We have the players to be playing so much better than this and your millions which you have so generously pumped into the club are sitting on the bench and not even in the side. Please somebody in the Stoke City hierarchy step in and save our club as we are on a crash course to be relegated if not. I'm not suggesting that we sack the manger, that can be reviewed in the summer when we are safe. What I am asking is that we put out our best possible team. PETER SMITH Stone
Waddo Totally off topic mate but do you happen to live very close to "Highfield Drive" in Blurton? Well done mate, IMO someone maybe just maybe will mention that on P and G tonight. Rest assured you are not alone.. everything you wrote in that letter echoes the views of many, many Stoke fans. Tune in tonight lads it could be one heck of a grumble.
