Our words, our accent etc. Sometimes people don't know them. So lets try and help him.

Firstly he didnt understand, Class and Gash.

Class....Good. very good.


Gash.....Not good...useless...crap. etc

But has also been known to be used as slang for. Fanny. Blurt. Rat. Etc


Lets help the folks out..


Out. Not to be confused with Owt. Which means Anything.

 

Marrow - meaning dear friend.

 

Marra...Mate.

Not many use that term. I do. Raw does and Billy. Great word. Trypical pit talk.

You lot pick up some of the Scottish lingo I've noticed, Billy in particular, maybe it's cos of his time from Glasgow.
