And how is he doing overall for Arsenal ? What are our first season thoughts on Lukas ?

 

He's always been described as a frustating player and i can see why.
When he's in the mood he's been excellent..

 

Started off pretty terrible, but turned it around completely in the new year. Probably been better than Giroud and Walcott in 2013 - only Wilshere has been better.

 

I like Podolski and he works hard. More goals would be good but he always puts a shift in helping out the defence and a lot of the times we have struggled on the left when he has not been playing. I genuinely tin that the people who have been having a go about him havent noticed that and he has our highest number of assists.

 

and he talks to and makes sure other players are doing the same.

 

Pod shows that the 'Only English players work hard and care about the team' adage is just a myth.

He is a productive player, and is increasingly involved in our general play compared to earlier in the season, where at times, he will just disappear.

 

Podolski and Giroud getting better all the time

 

I'd still like to see him given a shot through the middle. Giroud is putting up good numbers, but i think Poldi might do even better.

 

I'm not sure there's any need to change a working formula unless somebody gets injured or needs resting. Then Podolski or Walcott can play in the middle, with Oxo and Santi on the flanks.

What a Lad. Trip round the London sites in a Black Cab on his day off to take in some culture Shame he didn't take the Tube really. Also a shame that he went round on his own!! Though I suppose walking around with Merts you're a little more conspicuous.

He seems like a very down-to-earth guy from what I've seen of him so far. Really hope he stays around for a few years and proves to be a real success with the Team.

He's actually had a decent first Six months. Wenger predicted he will get better as he adapts and I think we will start to see the best of him.

I want to see him shoot more because the guy strikes the ball as well as anyone.

 

Exactly this. The man needs to just let rip wherever he is.
