SCUNTHORPE United have ended their interest in defender Nyron Nosworthy. The former Sunderland and Watford centre-back played for the Iron’s reserves on Monday in a 6-0 win over Burton Albion. He is currently a free agent having failed to fix himself up with a club on the back of being released by the Championship Hornets at the end of last term. But United assistant manager Ned Kelly confirmed that Scunthorpe have not followed up their initial interest in the 34-year-old.
Lol. Sunderland icon man. Brilliant centre half who could put Giggsy to shame with his mazy dribbling runs out of defence.
