I am of course talking about our newist arrival Alexander Tettey and I make this request based on the treatment of our last West African defensive midfielder. Dickson Etuhu was in all honesty very poor in his fist season for us but soon came into his own and proved to be a middle of the road premier league standard player. So if Tettey has a slow start us, lets get behind him and hope it is a confidence issue that can be resolved with support.

Lets also hope that there is no such slow start at all I guess!

Well said I'm beginning to dislike the whole buy young British players from the lower league ethos some of our fans have. There is no exact militant blueprint that we have to follow in regards to signing players. Some of the best finds in this league have been oversea's players and they haven't all broken the bank too.

Slightly confused by the post, our last west african, what does this have to do with Tettey? Of course folk will get behind him for a wee while, but if there are no signs of him being a good signing....... I expect he'll do well.

Well despite having Norwegian nationality, he was born in Ghana, Longsight, which does make him slightly African. ;)
