QPR MIDFIELDER Joey Barton has issued one final rallying cry to the Râs faithful ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley. In his only interview in the build-up to tomorrow's showcase fixture against Derby County, Barton told www.qpr.co.uk: "I think everyone connected to this club knows the importance of Saturday's game. "The effect the fans had on our semi-final against Wigan has certainly not gone unnoticed by the playing staff. "We certainly felt that surge of support from the fans, even at 1-0 down. It was a massive boost for us to have such incredible support and the scenes at full-time showed exactly what it means to be a part of this football club. "Nights like that are what you train for and you prepare for.â He added: "Saturday at Wembley is obviously a great occasion for everyone, but we go there with a clear plan, with an aim that we set out in July last year, to get this football club back on track and promoted back to the Premier League. "The fans have played their part magnificently up until this point, but we need one more big final effort from us all on Saturday. "We spoke in the dressing room before the Wigan home leg and again in the huddle in extra-time about making this our time - and on Saturday at Wembley, the fans can make it their time as well. "Derby County are a fantastic football side and who will be desperate to win, but whatever goes on out there throughout the 90 minutes, we've got to find a way. "We've spoken a lot about finding a way with our fans - 39,000 of them on Saturday - behind us and it's a massive occasion. "Everyone at this club wants to be playing Premier League football next season. Hopefully, we can go there and enjoy the occasion, but we're not there to have a look around and be tourists - we're there to win a football match. "We need everyone with us for one more big effort - on the pitch and in the stands with our twelfth man."
