Whether you're pro or anti-Hughton, This weekend we have to make as much noise as possible in Carrow Road. There has been a distinct drop in noise ever since Hughton came in (And I know most will say it's because of him) but it can't be good for the teams morale when you can hear a pin drop inside our ground. It's clear that they aren't going to get us going so we have to try and get them going. We need to find a way to get the Jarrold, The N&P and the City stand roaring and singing as much as the Barclay. I wish I knew how!
Would be nice if we could get some kind of fan-led decision to save any protesting until after the game, and get everyone well and truly behind the team for 90 minutes. Might be a good use of twitter.
I was thinking something along those lines but I don't really have the twitter clout to do such a thing!
You'll have to excuse Daves pessimism, he thinks there's an underground cabal constantly trying to undermine the club and our current predicament is down to them.
Just out of curiosity, when you go to games do you support the team? You know chants (not anti CH ones), clapping etc. Just you are generally very negative about our play and the manager (sometimes justifiably) so wondering how you react at a match.
Tipsy, it's a well known fact that Carrabuh has not watched, let alone attended, a City match since November 2000 when he decided that Hamilton's failure to implement tiki-taka before tiki-taka had been invented meant football was no longer worth watching
Lots of us in Jarrold are ex Barclay and do try to sing and make noise , would be good to hear the Barclay sing like it used too its like a library some weeks Come on you lot , young blokes today just to quiet obviously on your damn phones tweeting abuse to Hughton rather than singing
rubbish carrabuh he is like most of us we believe in our guys and back them with as much noise as we can I'm 57 damn it and never leave the ground with voice intact I desire us to win every ball and it hurts to see us in this poor spell but we still hope and dream that's what it is about not constant blooming moaning
Bit unfair that Northampton. As a long term resident of the Jarrold I can confirm I had my personality transplant a long time ago and it hasn't stopped me singing or cheering (both very badly).
I think that irrespective of personal agendas etc. we need one last big hurrah for Saturday where for 2 hours the fans unite and pull for the team 100%. Afterwards maybe the situation will be clear and it will a continuation (if we win) a sacking (if we lose) and a draw (may depend upon the nature of it). In an ideal world that wish would be my hope for the Hull game.
The one thing that Hughton has going for him and which makes me think we will win on Saturday is that so far, every time he has looked almost certain to lose his job if a bad result occurs, he seems to manage to pull it out of the bag - oddly both against W Brom - 0-2 win at the Hawthorns in December following the Liverpool demolition and the fantastic home win against them immediately after the Villa defeat when it looked like we might go down (though I believe the points were that even if we had lost we still would have been ultimately safe)
