Clearly Talc was working in the background to sort out the Tees situation last night. I think he may have crossed swords with BRB. Lets get this straight Talc you are our Mod because we chose you as a reasonable poster in thought and deed. Please don't step down because of interference from outside sources. I hope my fellow Mackem's agree with me here. I don't recall you upsetting anyone on here ever! Unlike myself who must have upset 50% or more. You don't need plaudits from any other source mate, as we are the only ones who count and we want you as our Mod. I stepped down from modding as I knew I couldn't be moderate in thought and deed. You have more than proved you can be both! I think you your self agree with me and our fellow Mackem's, that this board does one hell of a job of self moderation. And our mods are only there to tidy where needed. Don't let outside interference influence your decision. Listen to your "mates" on here. And trust me, I know you're thinking, it's a thankless task anyway. Well I'm thanking you, just the same as I thank you for all the work on the prediction league. MR.

It seems alot of you regular posters are pissed off with last night and rightly so imo. I'm not gonna defend billy for one moment although i will ask for his ban to be lifted but i wouldnt be surprised if it fell on deaf ears, mainly because he'll just do it again and we all know it, maybe he'll get one more chance, we'll see? Tees was banned and it was lifted straight away, decent. What's pissed me off is that Talc is saying he wont come back, this is mainly because a mod from the dark side instigated all the hullabaloo and saw fit to moderate our board. I asked for a 24hr ban on ACS yesterday morning as one way or another i knew he would be involved in the outcome on this board after whatever result come hail, rain or high water. and i have told him how unhappy i am about it this morning in a pm would very much appreciate it if this poll was kept between us safc fans as we stand to lose good people
Talc should never of been banned. I don't blame him for not wanting to come back. We all know Billy flies off the handle. We all know he's had a crap time of late, that's not to excuse his outbursts but honestly. If some bugger wants to look an arse in cyberland let them get on with it. Who originally asked ACS to be a mod? Was it Syd, another mod, was it a democratic vote from ourselves? Personally I appreciate the effort mods put in.............usually. It would appear however that things got out of hand and emotions took over. Needs a few of the mods and some of the top posters on here to maybe rewrite some rules/regulations etc that everybody abides by. It is however as far as I am concerned a forum about football and most posters are blokes (I think) and industrial language will be used and in the heat of the moment or when drunk name calling will occur. We are adults ffs lets sort it. Dont know ACS at all and have nowt against the bloke but on a SAFC board forum I would prefer Sunderland lads to be mods. Hopefully after a few days cooling off everybody can get back on here, inc Billy, Tees & talc.
Bloody hell. This board is about opinions. We are never going to agree all the time and I like input from fans of other teams. That's what makes it fun and why I've never posted on Syd's site. Just this week I had a spat with Smug. Do I think any less of him? Of course not, it would be a **** show if we all just said I agree to each other.
Not sure why this has been merged FFS! This has nothing to do with Talc. I wanted Talc to see that we are behind him. And for the record I want no one banned. We would be no better than BRB and his kneejerk reactions. Ban the twat if he is disrupting threads by all means. Banning him for white knighting would be sad. He should be laughed at not banned.
ACS comes on here pretending to be a friendly MAG but starts many anti Sunderland back stabbing threads on the Scum board. I have seen through him and I am surprised others haven't. IMO his the worst kind of MAG at least the others dont hide their hatred of us.
