So Chelsea couldn't do us a favour which still has us requiring a point. We can't rely on Arsenal as they'll already be on holiday and waiting for the FA cup final so we need to do this on Wednesday which would set up a nice party atmosphere for the last day. The lads have been amazing over the last five games so it's time to get this done and dusted as those of a nervous disposition (me) couldn't cope with a nervy final day.
I'm very confident we'll get some form of result on Wednesday. WBA have never particularly looked up for the scrap, and now that they're all but mathematically safe I can't see them being up for a long trip to a bouncing Stadium of Light. They are a bogey team for us, but Old Trafford used to be a a bogey ground for us, and Stamford Bridge was a bogey ground for everyone! We just beat Man United and Chelsea, thrashed Cardiff, and drew with Man City. Norwich parking the bus yesterday just gave them a stay of execution, nothing else.
I made a promise to give up the tabs to the wee lad a couple of months ago if we stayed up so the quicker it's done the better! Plus I have taken a lot of stick over the last few months from a lot of plastics especially pool fans so revenge would be sweet.
