Some of the recent threads haver veeered off alarmingly from anything Siants related. So in what is probably a vain attempt to get back on cthe bus. What do we think the top 6 in the Championship will look like after this weekends fixtures. Will we still be top after Monday night?
Not sure about the other 4 but I have a feeling West Ham will be 1st till about 9:00 on monday. Have a good feeling about Monday night!
So do I. I surprise myself sometimes these days, with my 100% positive Saints comments. Just as recently as 2 or 3 seasons ago, I would be laughed off a forum if I made my views known. I mean, Saints are coming through a blip in form, and in other years, that would signal the well known iffy feelings, that every Saints fan grows up with. But now, I'm just waiting for them to carry on where they left off against Nottm Forest. Back in the winning groove. It's an odd feeling.
But a very nice feeling! As I drive I pass St Marys Stadium and I get a nice feeling as I see it from the railway bridge on Northam Road. It hasn't always been such great vibe for me!
Variation makes for a much more interesting board. Having a board solely dedicated towards SFC affairs isn't ever going to have enough content to keep going. Also over the last week You've started about 90% of the threads so you should blame yourself for digressing, if you are unhappy with the shift of topic.
Agreed le tiss. West Ham will crush poor old Forest and then we'll be playing catch up for the first time for a long time. Be interesting to see how that goes. But we can't be lower than 2nd come Monday so that's a big improvement on the situation faced when we went to Forest. As for the board going down hill, isn't the big problem that it is a bit of a slow news time? Great, we've signed an exciting young Spanish lad on loan; very good we have an (as yet) unproven Japanese star. We could be on here in a couple of weeks raving about these two and we might have signed someone who could threaten Rickie's place in the team ... but right now there is not a lot to say, is there? A poster posed the question of whether the side could cope with both of these slight and speedy young players (although I am not sure Lee fits either description) in the same team as Lallana and was told to simply trust Nigel - which I am sure the poster does anyway. So maybe we don't want to discuss tactics or individual players for fear of looking negative, so take this away and there's not a lot left to say is there? And Lamballana, Joey is right in pointing out you are the author of a number of threads. In your defence, of course, they created some nice responses and helped you through your boring day, much as I expect this one is doing!
Too much to hope Forest will do us a favour, but I hope they don't lose by too many goals. Our GD could yet be important. Will be content if we go into the Leicester game 2nd with Cardiff and M'boro dropping points. Then the ball is back in our court.
Long as we can beat Leicester we shouldn't have a care in the world. All of the clubs will have to play tough points losing games between now and the end of the season.
