Uninspiring football. Uninspiring transfers. Uninspiring tactics. So for me, it's an uninspiring no.

Think I agree, some strange decisions this season. Against Newcastle and wolves we played great passing football and now he has gone for this stupid long ball game which isn't working. Its a no for me.

I'm still wearing my rose tinted glasses. I would also say that it is too late to change the manager for this transfer window, otherwise we would end up with another last minute bargain hunt like in August.

I can understand your argument for everything but the "uninspiring transfers" bit.

August's transfers were all done at the last minute when TF took over or before the takeover when he had almost no money.

Last season's transfers were a set of revelations that we all didn't believe in at first.

Yeah I see your point, I'm being critical of what they've achieved since they've arrived. I was delighted when we signed them. But i would suggest Barton, SWP, Gabbidon (although we all knew he was ****) Traore, Bothroyd and DJ (granted injured) have been uninspiring, whereas Young and Ferdinand have done justice.

He got a disadvantaged Sheffield United to the last game of a prem season.

He has also changed plenty of games for us (Spurs, Swansea) and sent us flying out the traps (Chelsea, Man City).

A few bad performances but that happens (Moyes admitted as much about Everton against Bolton but the toffees are rightfully still with him).

While we're on a bad run, people will pick negatives because the things he's doing right aren't paying off.

Still the right man for the job and he hasn't run out of ideas yet.

Stop being sentimental. If you or I were not achieving results at work we,d be replaced.Warnock was employed to get us promoted,no more no less.On achieving promotion I thought he desreved a crack at the prem league as he,d earned that much. But it appears to be a step to far. His tatics, after match interviews etc ets are beginning to remind me of when he was in charge of Sheff Utd.I also feel that he and the club are not going to attract the right sort of players. If he had been succesful I would have been fairly happy if he stayed even though I hate his defensive slant on every game home or away. The next few weeks are going to be very interesting,if TF allows him to stay we will probably get relegated and what does that tell us about the new owners.I hope we dont get relegated but weve all seen his sort of football in recent years and it always ends in relegation.

I don't see why people have not liked Gabbidon's performances. For me, he's been one of the best. His performances may not look nice for some but he really hasn't done anything less that exactly what he's supposed to do. He's been consistent and, for me, has had some shining performances.

SWP has been great at times and then a let down at others but he seems to be improving and could be one of our most important players in this second half of the season.

Barton also has had some good performances and some downright lousy ones. He's a bit of a knob, really. Not sure I want him as captain at all.

Traore has let me down as a defender but I think he could be an asset in midfield, especially now we're without Barton. With that said, he's now off to Africa.

Yes, Bothroyd has looked decent on the ball but has dissappointed me. Honestly, if only he could trouble defences and work as hard as Agyemang but used the potential and skill that he has and Agyemang doesn't. Agyemang would come at defenses with wreckless abandon and strength... and then lose the ball or miss a sitter. If Bothroyd could do the first bit but then actually do what Agyemang couldn't, which he can, he'd be scoring!

at the start of the season, EVERYONE said they wanted to finish anywhere 17th or higher and didnt care where, why does it matter now, cos we have played very well in some games, how is that the managers fault? maybe for buying the wrong strikers but can you sack someone on that?

I'm quite impressed with Traore and think the others have done OK (to varying degrees).

Oh, and Dyer's attitude on the treatment table has been a revelation. :0/

Traore uninspiring?? His crossing of the ball from wide on the left has been as good as I've seen from any PL player this season. I think he has been great, though I agree with those that say he is better going forward than defending, and in some games is probably better played on the left side of a 4 or 5 midfield.

I am 100% behind Neil for this season at least.

His assist for Sessegnon was sensational, if only we had that vision going forward! haha. No I just think he's too flat footed and his distribution isn't good enough.

And don't get me wrong, the players I mentioned have all done well in places, but consistently not enough for my liking anyway.

You got me there, didn't Silva score from our right side - I blamed Paddy for not saving that one on his near post!

He did score from our right side, but it came from a Traore cross on our left that deceived everyone and found its way to James Milner near the half way line in our half haha!

I think we will be ok at the end of the season with a few acquisitions and there is no point getting rid of NW unless there is a dead cert replacement. I can't think of anyone out there that could come in and do any better. Also if we buy or loan players and let NW go will the new guy want who we have brought in.
I was not a NW fan when he was at other clubs but like him as ours, although not quite as much as at the beginning of the season.
Who do you suggest would come in in the summer to change things for next season in the prem. I can't think of anyone right now.
