Can we really blame FSG for being cautious in the transfer window! In the last 18 months we spent over 100m in that time and what have we to show for it! Adam now gone Carroll loaned out to newly promoted team, downing very little/no impact and suarez though talented has not been problem free! At the end of the day FSG can't keep spending bad money on top of bad money otherwise we will end up in the same situation as H&G, after all they are not oil barons. I'm actually pretty pleased with the people we have bought in this summer and at much better value for money, Although I must agree we are in desperate need of a striker! All this being said maybe loan deals make more sense for us and FSG at the moment. It may cost us more if the players perform well but then how much have we thrown away on players that havent worked recently! As long as FSG are prepared to dig deep if the loan players work out then I'm happy.
