Put aside his tactics selection favouritism and negativity despite the fortunes that he has speant we can not just score Almost all of the teams below us manage to score more than one now and again It may be the lack of creativity not producing opportunities but how often just lately are we missing good chances We have good strikers if they are up for it ( in my view they should always be so on £X000's per week) but have others who can see at the games have said the team spirit has gone WHO DO YOU BLAME FOR THAT It may be some of you regulars doubt my right to an opinion because I am so far removed from the action but as a loyal Stokie since 1956 and having played for my beloved Stoke the Vale and Congleton Town as a teenager I think I know a bit about the game although it is different nowadays If you look at how we were promoted and all credit to Pulis it was basically grafting and avoiding losing less than the others Yes Bolton at Wembley was brilliant but they were poor and how many of our goals were clear scores but the beauty was that we took the game to them I amire Huthy's optomism re the next few weeks but whatever he is on beats the cheap booze out here If I was fortunate enough to be going to the Brit on Thursday I would be concerned Valencia for all the typical Spanish play acting move the ball around quickly with skill There may be an air of encoragement at the start but if they score first which is quite likely I fear the worst for the lads and the fans As for Crawley I can see us being turned over especially if we lose on Thursday because IMO Pulis could not motivate himself never mind the lads After 56 years of loyal support I hate to be so negative ( caught from Pulis??? ) and I hope that I am wrong In the early days when interviewed on MOTD Pulis was obviously quite nervous but now his arrogance whinging and lack of nous are obvious SiS
Stoke in Spain.. Fantastic post ... I've not missed too many games since 1961 and just because you are in Spain? Does not mean you can not have an oppinion fair play to you for telling it how you see it. Can't say there is much in there that, I don't agree with S I S. NOT concerned about Thursday's game myself. I know how good Valencia are and it's a game I will enjoy win lose or draw. Crawley, we should with the player's available turn them over on Sunday.. if not WHY not Tony? KTF S I S I HOPE you get to see the Potter's on t.v. on Thursday night too!
