Apart from feeling Wembley was a waste of time, and I also feel a bit of an idiot for shedding a tear at the time, I think we should take on board that we are not a premier league club as we have a championship set up, manager, players etc. Looking at next season's fixtures it should be quite exciting and we won't lose most weeks. Anyone agree/disagree?
Unless your sole objective as a football fan is sitting in an armchair, streaming as many games as possible, the Championship has a lot going for it.
The pies can be nice. More games. More wins. Cheaper tickets. More interesting away days. Maybe even a new ground or two. Two local derbies, if you can call them that, if Brentford stay down. Probably a more likeable bunch of players The list goes on.
I'm not too sure about the more wins part of the deal, mass cull of the has-beens and never-will-bes will leave us out of the running...
We've won seven games this season (I think without looking it up). I'd like to think we can win 8/46.
Wats, you're clutching at sh*t bro. Your list is still a very poor trade off for being in a proper league where you actually get to see some decent teams playing. If we don't come right back up next year I'm going to commit suicide
More games would be nice, there are so many gaps in the schedule in the premiership, and we never seem to do well after a break; in fact we might have entirely avoided relegation if the schedule had been more consistent...
Well the board will be a cheerier place at least. There are plenty of decent teams in the championship. Personally I go to see QPR. Of course it's cool to visit great grounds and see top players in the flesh but it wears thin, for me at least, when you're **** nine games out of ten.
I'm considering going for a season ticket for me and my son next season instead of membership. As I keep telling him, QPR is never boring!
I must have missed something major occuring in the Championship if its now something to look forward to. My short term memory is going, but I seem to recall it being total, utter and complete **** 12 months ago.
