Hmm I got to admit, I never had a problem with it.... We have various threads that I'm not really all that interested in so just ignore them. This could have been quite funny, with some amusing scenarios....

I'm sorry, but I have to post this. Anyone who has ever taken offence at anything has an opportunity not to read this. I apologise in particular to Kev, whom I have nothing against but just happens to have lit the touchpaper.

[nsfw]WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING KEV?!? WHAT WAS THE ****ING POINT IN BUMPING THIS STUPID ****ING REMINDER ABOUT THAT CROCK OF GODDAMN ****E THAT HAS PLAGUED THIS ****ING BOARD FOR THE LAST ****ING DAY OR TWO?!?

CAN WE CLOSE THIS ****ING THREAD FOR ****'S SAKE!!![/nsfw]

Really? Was it actually really that bad? Did it really 'plague' our board? One small thread where if there was little interest, it would have disappeared anyway, and if people who wanted to contribute sensibly, it would have stayed....

Can I say something like that for what I consider 'nonsense' games then? I have no interest in them but people keep bumping them up... so maybe I'll whine and whine to get rid of them as well! Or maybe I will just let people have their fun on the threads that interest them and I won't contribute as I don't want to!

This will be the last word on the matter!

The thread was created by one of the Norwich Mods using an alter-ego, much like Leo did under HornetArt. He has had success on the Norwich, Sunderland and Bristol Rovers boards. It was simply a tongue in cheek thread where he offers funny answers to mock questions. However a few sourpusses did not like it so H closed it.

A long time ago Leo said that there should be no need to close a thread unless it is offensive! This was not offensive so if you dont like it you ignore it. I am not going to start closing threads just because there are 5/6 people who have had a "sense of humour bypass". If one person on the board likes the thread then they should have the right to read and post on it. If not it will drop away and nobody has to read it. FYI, i dont enjoy the change a letter or song games, but i leave them and only skim mod them. I have not been harmed by them.

The matter is closed and so is this thread.

P.s, the news thread is not the place for this discussion!!
