Thrilled with the win tonight. Our boys have done us so proud once again. Resilience and coming to form at the right time. There are real winners in this team, people that know how to win.

Hopefully we can build on this and do better next year.

Also I can't say I like Benitez and never will but credit where it's due, he got the team right and did all he could (in the cups at least). He's done okay, not brilliant but not diabolical.

Stockholm, Munich and Amsterdam. Proud to have witnessed those.

Bright Future <ok>

Love him or loathe him, one thing is for sure - he's a lot better than we gave him credit for.

I hope he gets to leave the club with some dignity.

Credit to Benitez for his achievement. I have strongly disagreed with his management, his apparent willingness to play weakened teams and lose or draw matches we should have walked. His subs have been awful all season, and I can't say I see him as a great tactician.
He does however, obviously have a way with players and they do respond and play well for him, and the team has bonded and fought hard throughout his tenure. He has achieved all we needed, A Europa win and qualification for the CL.
So thanks Rafa, and good luck wherever you might end up. No more criticism from me.

Dignity (like integrity) is something you have, it cannot be given to you. Rafa has handled himself with enormous dignity and credit throughout the season, infact it is the way he has gone about his business, despite the circumstances that has won him admirers that he never had.

I agree! What he has achieved has been done in the face of hostility from all but the players! I cant help admiring him and thanking him for what he has achieved! I also think that whoever took over(Special one apart) would have had a hard time after Robbie's sacking!
