Right this is a crazy idea but let me run with it......

We all know the club is for sale at the right price, and we all know we want new owners. So here is my little idea. We need 50000 fans all to pledge £300 less than current season ticket price which makes £150 million offer fat Mike £120 plus Carroll's money and use the other £30 million to create a business and management team to run the club. Season tickets for 1st season to all that pledge will be free then 30% of and profits will de divided between us and 70% back into the club. All members will have their say this will stop all the sh!t and rumours because will be 100% transparent............

I know this would never happen but just take 5 mins to think about how amazing this could be

What about money for wages, transfers & bonuses. Plus we still owe money to Ashley himself.

Sounds like you've got it all sorted then... What makes it even better is that we all pay just £300 each, buy the club, and get a free season ticket too! Now that's value.

But he invests money into the club for these to be paid for. Why else would he get rid of the high earners? Because it is costing him too much money and big transfer fees and wages without a good return causes debt.

I don't think we'd be any better of with a fan owned club, in fact I think it would be a complete shambles !

Look at the disagreements between the people on this forum which number a few hundred/thousand?, then look at the views of the people on Facebook, then you have the arguments from the old guard in the ground, the semi-interested joe public and finally look at the crazy opinions of the Toon Sky brigade who find themselves in front of the camera looking like someone asked them to explain the theory of relativity in Chinese with a mouth full of jelly .

No, I honestly think we're better off with one or two owners who have the best interests of the club at heart ... taking care of the financials and also ensuring we can produce exciting, dynamic football with steady progress year on year (living the dream).

I hate to say it but just maybe that is Ashley's long term vision, if he rides the continued storm of disapproval and get's his way I think this 'successful' businessman might, just might have a plan to make this club succeed!

FFS where did all that optimisim and rose tinted perspective come from .... need more sleep!!

Does 50000 times 300 not equal £15 million?

Failing that we could try to get a Nigerian prince to fund us... Or King Shola, he's Nigerian and royalty!

Would Fat Mike accept £15 million :)?

As a side note we can buy it and then sell it to some Qatar based guy for half the price we paid! A small cost to us just to get rid of Ashley...who's with me?

Some people's maths skills on this board are shocking. Yesterday somebody was saying £65k a week for 3 years was "£4ish million."
