This is a message for the owners and managers of those English clubs eyeing up Southampton players for the January transfer window. Buy any of our players and you'll end up about as successful as Liverpool and Manchester United currently are this season. Just take a look at the PL table and keep your cheque book in you pocket and look elsewhere. You'll be much better off looking at the players of Crystal Palace, West Ham, Everton and most especially Leicester City.

Let's honest would any club really want to pay over the odds for any of our players?
Wanyama is half the player he was when paired with Snidders and was completely dominated yesterday by Dembella.
Bertrand....be serious, he's no where near last seasons form. Looks like he thinks he has made it since playing for England
    Pelle...come on be serious
Mane...flatters to deceive. Goal ratio is very poor but looks good.

Pace, flair, confidence to run at defences. A rare type of player. He's been linked to Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich already in the past. Three goals, five assists already this season. Lallana went for 25 million and the most assists he's ever had in a PL season is five. Let's not forget Mane is 23. I believe Lallana was 26 when he went.

If Saints sold only decent players Liverpool and Man U would be 1st and second in the Prem!

He always tries hard too. I do think he's trying a bit *too* hard in the last few games though, if that makes sense?

Cracking player though, no doubting that.

Mane and Wanyama will be the ones. One if not both of those players will be sold mid season.

No one thinks anyone will be after the rest.

    Mid-season? I seriously doubt that.

I'd quite happily swop places with Manchester United and Liverpool right now.

    No chance they're leaving mid-season.

I think the point here Ides is that they're not happy with where they're at either.

It appears I typed mid season. This is what happens when you have beer at lunch time.

    I meant pre season.

I didn't think he tried very hard on Saturday to be honest. It was almost as if he realised that he couldn't get past Toby, so he gave up. I've hardly seen him driving into the box as well as he did last season and I really wish he'd do it more!
