Following on from cards statement a week or so back to cease all in ground hostilities for August it seems to me that things have changed. I know card thought mr Slade and the team deserve a chance unhindered and claimed to be backed by the majority of the support. How they could claim that I don't know . BUT since that statement was issued the promised signings have not materialised and we have sold let go 3 goalkeepers signed none. The whole situation has worsened looks bleaker than at anytime during the Roland tenure so surely the statement should be retracted and starting with the Northampton game maximum disruption must be the aim. Boycot games don't buy season tickets if you wish BUT In my view the way to force these people out is direct action . It's direct action that gets our message across .The press love it and Roland and Katrien hate it. Matches disrupted is the only way to force Roland and co out. So CARD do the right thing denounce the ceasefire and let the battle recommence.
Totally agree Mike In so far as CARD represent Charlton fans - and they don't and never will - it is fair to say that they have blinked first in their battle with Meire. She must be laughing. Northampton should have been all about a mass protest, starting outside the Lib and with a march to the ground. Then stuff chucked onto the pitch, pitch invasions, and disruption. We need to keep the plight of the club in the spotlight, starting from Day 1. Remember how effective the protests were last season at the Brighton and Burnley games. More of the same, FFS ! Instead we get a mealy mouthed apology of a statement condemning smoke bombs/flares accompanied by a risible half-threat of all the nasty surprises CARD has in store this season. 16 players out and only 4 players in Relegated to league 1 45% drop in ST sales Club massively in debt. A question to CARD - if not now, WHEN ???? C*nts and w*nkers.
I see the Club is offering up to four FREE tickets to residents of SE7 for the Nortmapton game. Really sad and desperate stuff, and an insult to those who pay week after week.
Give it till Bury go 1-0 up next week then the first "You Belgian w****** get out of our club" goes up. Then let battle commence.
But it shouldn't take a Bury goal for the protests to kick off again. We were on our arses in April, 17 players have since left with only 4 brought in. We have no first or second choice keeper, and less than a dozen fit and experienced pros. The Club is a basket case- and CARD still don't want to protest.
I'm trim, lean and mean. And I'm going to protest. Going me, and I'll lend you GANT sweaters and Holister t-shirts.... #RolandOut
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... nothing happening on your forum numb nuts...? You spend so much time on here that I reckon you're a closet Charlton fan.
Thought you looked terrible v QPR today - Defence is slow & shambolic - that clown Bamba would struggle to get a game for us
We were shambolic. Green is finished as a keeper, Christ knows why we signed him, Taylor wants out, both centre halves are ****e. The midfield are crap and can't tackle. If Dallas is a good winger I am calling trades description. Wood is ****. And our mad Cnut owner still thinks he can sell our best and replace them with cheap ****e. Monk will be sacked in five weeks.
